THE JUICY DETAILS

How are Liquid Remedy drinks sweetened?

We add a touch of organic stevia and organic erythritol (fermented glucose) at the end of the natural fermentation process. This adds back a touch of sweetness and balances out the flavours after we naturally brew out all of the sugar. Both the stevia and erythritol we use are 100% natural and certified organic.

What are the floaties in my kombucha?

Have no fear! Strands or small pieces of our live kombucha SCOBY or ‘mother’ may appear in the bottle. While they may seem weird the first time you see them, rest assured these are signs of a natural and healthy kombucha that is unpasteurised and full of goodness. They are perfectly normal and safe. In fact, it’s a good sign of a very healthy kombucha!

Is there any alcohol in your kombucha?

All of our drinks are non-alcoholic. When it comes to Liquid Remedy Kombucha, a trace amount of alcohol can be produced during the natural fermentation process. We thoroughly test each and every batch to ensure that this does not go above 0.5% as per national standards for non-alcoholic drinks.

What’s the go with caffeine in Liquid Remedy kombucha?

Our Liquid Remedy Kombucha has approx 5mg of caffeine per 100ml, which is very low. To put it into perspective, coffee can contain more than 100mg of caffeine depending on how strongly it is brewed.
